7 Days Eastern Uganda Trail

Day 1: Entebbe-Jinja.
Upon your arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be welcomed by our professional-experienced English guide or company representative. Thereafter drive to Jinja, stopover at Ssezibwa Buganda cultural site to experience unforgettable stories about its formation, view the birds and monkey, the interesting camping island between the river. Lunch en-route; stop at Mabira forest where you can only find unique local herbs and birds which are not found any-where else like the plunus Africana which cures cancer. After that unforgettable experience proceed to Jinja with en-route view of green cover, magnificent flow of River Nile to other regions. Dinner and over night at wild waters lodge or Nile crested Hotel. Meal plan: Full-board.
Day 2: Jinja-Tororo-Mbale.
Today after our early morning breakfast, drive to Mbale via Maraba surface road. Lunch en-route, visit to Sipi falls and local communities. Evening  visit to Tororo rock with its highest altitude of 4,865 feet (1,483 m) with a gradient of about 0.75 from the east to the west. On the rock's slopes are ancestral caves and various rock paintings where unforgettable experience impacted. The elevation of Tororo Town is 3,888 feet (1,185 m). Therefore Tororo Rock towers 977 feet (298 m) above downtown Tororo. Late dinner and overnight at oriental hotel Soroti or Soroti hotel. Meal plan: breakfast, Lunch and Dinner F/B.
Day 3: Soroti-Moroto
Morning breakfast and later visit to the Nyero rock paint near Kumi District, the site is of a Later Iron Age period. The Nyero Rock Paintings, with three-tiered rock-shelters, and primitive paintings on their inner surfaces with unforgettable experience, is one of the many UNESCO World Heritage sites. Lunch en-route-proceed to Moroto to experience the Manyatta life style and home stead’s where they enter their home on their knees. Dinner and overnight at Leslona Hotel in Moroto. Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner F/B.
Day 5: Moroto-Karamoja
Morning heavy breakfast later continues to adventure the culture and people (the Ike, geers and mathenikos) of Karamoja through the facilitation of local cooperation projects. Visit to Lopotuk villages and the dispensary, the youth centre and you can request to participate in local performances, music and dance.  Evening proceed to Kidepo national park, Dinner and overnight at Apoka Lodge or Apoka rest camp. Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner-F/B.
Day 6: Kidepo
Dawn game drive along the trails of Kidepo Valley Park with options of animal, bird viewing and photographic unforgettable experience. The park inhabits one of the most exciting faunas rare in any other destinations, with over 80 species of mammals like cheetah, striped hyena and caracal, with over 465 bird species including ostriches. Return to the lodge for Breakfast, refreshment and lunch. Evening more visit to the local Karamojong homestead. Dinner and overnight at Apoka lodge or Uganda Wildlife Authority Banda’s. Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and Dinner F/B.
Day 7: Kidepo.
Dawn game drive along the trails of Kidepo Valley Park with options of animal, bird viewing and photographic unforgettable experience.
