Bwindi Gorilla Safari (4 Days, 3 Nights)

Day One: Transfer to Bwindi
In the morning you will have breakfast to drive south-west of Uganda. You will have stop at the equator for photographs, and in Mbarara for lunch. The journey will take you through large banana plantations, papyrus woodland, and terraced landscapes of the “Switzerland of Africa”. It takes about 9 hours to reach Bwindi in the late afternoon. You will then go for a walk in the surrounding communities. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla forest Camp / Buhoma community Bandas

Day Two: See the Gorillas in the Wild!

Have breakfast to transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before you set off at 9:00 am through the tracks to search for the humble giants. You will go with packed lunch because it’s hard to determine how long it will take you to meet these great apes. However the time ranges between 2-9 hours depending on the movement of the giant primates. The activity is tiresome, it involves walking along steep hilly tracks however encountering these great relatives of man erases all the poor memories/ hardships you went through in trying to find them. They are awe-inspiring! Dinner and overnight at Gorilla forest Camp / Buhoma community Bandas.

Day Three: Transfer to Kampala
In the morning have breakfast and then head off to Kampala. You will stop in Mbarara for lunch and then proceed to also stop at the equator for photographs. You will reach Kampala in the evening.
